Dear all, It is with deepest sadness and regret that I write to let you all know that Amp's 17 year old son Dorian passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this morning. In recent days he had taken ill and was admitted to hospital diagnosed with diabetes. There were complications and he went into cardiac arrest this morning and passed shortly after. Dorian was a wonder and talented young man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He was just graduating school, starting to drive and setting out on his path as an adult. Amp and Dorian had one of the strongest bonds I have ever known between father and son and Amp has always worked hard to make sure that Dorian was nurtured and loved as much as humanly possible. Words cannot express the sadness of today and our thoughts are with Amp, Stacey and his family at this time. Personally I have watched Dorian grow up and shared a lot of experiences with him, from the blackout in New York to numerous tours, to his own musical development and family time in Detroit. It breaks my heart to think I will never speak to him again as heÕs been my friend and family for a long time now. He was an amazing young man and he will be sorely sorely missed.
